What To Do When Building Your Home

"At PARK CO., REALTORS®, we enjoy working with clients through the building process.

Our advice to those looking to build is to first work with an agent; you’ll want to have someone on your side during the building process. Someone who will assist with special assessment information, availability of lots, information from the builder, and so much more.

Next, shop builders and get references. Make sure you know what is included in the purchase of the lot and building of the home, be sure to know what your allowances are for items like lighting, appliances, and so forth. Knowing these costs up front will save you from coming in over budget.

Finally, think resale. Choose a location and floor plan that will be easy to sell should you decide to move in the future."
