Chris sold me house in less than 48 hours! She worked late hours when the calls came in to facilitate the deal.
A few days before closing on the home I was buying, we found an issue with the house that was not disclosed. Chris worked many hours calling in experts to look at the issue, making phone calls, and giving me advice on my options. She asked us where we wanted to live (in town next to a specific school) and 2 months later she was confused because we were now looking in Harwood and Casselton. She was so flexible with everything: showings and appointments, locations, types of homes.. just everything. I had previously used a realtor from Park to buy a house. The purchase went smoothly, and he was a great realtor. Unfortunately, I could not use him due to a divorce settlement; I had to use Park, and he had left the company. He recommended a realtor he knew at Park, Valerie. Valerie was utterly incompetent, lacked common sense and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I would give her information regarding when the house was unavailable to show, and she would message with a scheduled showing during that time. For example, a showing at 7:30 pm that lasted until 8:30 pm during a school night when I have young kids with school the next day.
She scheduled pictures before walking through the house and stating what she wanted differently. Upon arrival at the home, she wanted it "show ready" with two teenagers, one disabled adult, two children, and myself living there, leading to the photographs needing rescheduling after I had already taken time off work. In her initial communication, she was entirely unclear, stating she wanted the house to "look ready."
During a showing, she said my front door could not get opened and rescheduled several showings that day. Finally, when I got home, I turned the knob, and it opened. Unfortunately, I had informed her that the door turned hard, and she had forgotten entirely.
This was the most unorganized realtor I have ever dealt with, and I would not recommend her. I cannot begin to tell you how completely unsatisfied I am with her.

The first part of this text message exchange where I am asking Tasha Barrett to make the sale of our house happened and reiterated to her that I know she can do it, this message was sent to her on Tuesday February 27th, 2018.

We first met Our realtor Jenny Schuster 15 years ago, when we moved from Iowa to FM area. She really became my first friend here. Over the years she has helped us buy and sell several homes. James initially talked with us about our expectations for a home, including price and needed features. When new houses came on the market he was truthful about features and which ones did/did not meet our needs. Based upon that, we would decide whether to look. He gave us no pressure when looking, answered questions consistently, and pointed out features we didn't initially notice.
Once we found our new home, James provided us with a nice structure for completing the purchase agreement. He gave suggestions on how to add or omit options that would help attract the seller to our purchase request, which worked!!
As we completed documents throughout the closing process, we decided to sign everything electronically. This was an extremely easy process and James was once again detailed in his documentation. If we had questions because of the legal jargon, he clarified easily. He was with us throughout the closing and as questions popped up in the days after. In the last year, my family moved from Bismarck to Moorhead. We asked our Bismarck agent to get us in contact with someone we could trust, and Diane was the person.
Needing a flexible schedule to view houses, as we needed to travel 3 hours every time we needed to view houses, Diane was always accommodating. There was never a time we requested, that she was unavailable. There were 4 separate weekends where we went to view houses, the first 3 visits, we did not love any house we visited. But we never felt pressured to buy a house that Diane showed us, and she made it clear to us that she did not want to pressure us into something we did not want. She was not looking to make a quick sell, rather, was looking for our best interests. One of the qualities we liked so much about Diane on our visits, was her knowledge. She would point out areas of houses that would need work (i.e. leaky faucets, sump pump maintenance required, water damage around windows, etc...), like I said, she was not looking for a quick sell. She was working in our best interests, and wanted us to be fully informed, and she did exactly that.
On our 4th visit, with Diane's help, we did find the house we wanted, and we loved (and 9 months later, we still do).
